She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bayard Ellis and Francis Ellis; her son Kenneth Carter Jr.; and her husband Kenneth Carter Sr. Sue. She is survived by: her children, Susan (Jim), Robert (Shari), Stephen (Nohemi), Jay, Kay (Rex) and Jennifer (Geoff). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
