He was predeceased by : his parents, James Edmond and Ruby Sattley (Phleps); his wife Edythelma; his son Thomas Kent; his grandson Darren Kirk Taylor; and his siblings, Carl Sattley, Vernon Sattley (Betty), Theta Dow (Bob), Sylva Solberg (Albert) and Leon Severson (Jonette).

He is survived by : his friend Don Royce; his children, Jesse Sattley (Charlene) and Carol Taylor (Bill); his grandchildren, Derrick Taylor (Tashina), Adam Sattley (Bob) and Abby Lyons (L. J.); his great grandchildren, Alex and Olivia Lyons; and also, Edythelma Royce, Clyde and Pearl Royce.
