In loving memory of Carolyn R. Lard (Cortez, Colorado), who departed this world on June 13, 2025 at the age of 80. Carolyn leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Lard; her parents, Fred Crouse (Myrtle) and Collen Wolf; and her brother Gary Crouse. She is survived by: her sister Judy Johnson; her children, Rick Lard (Kate), Shane Lard (Toni) and Jody Alsobrook (Aaron); her grandchildren, Jonathan and Aivree Apple; and her extended family, Juna Hebel, Linda Alvarado, Ryan Randy Alvarado and Randy Alvarado.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist-Cortez (515 N Park St, Cortez, CO 81321).
