It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Lee Walter (Cortez, Colorado), born in McCook, Nebraska, who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Doran Remington and Delphine Remington. She is survived by : her former life partner Gary Tobiasson; her husband Roland Walter of Dolores; her children, Chad Tobiasson of Grand Junction and Amy Picray (John) of Monticello, IA; her stepchildren, Cindy Koenig (Stacy) of Westminster, CO, Steve Walter and Charlie Walter (Cathy) of Milwaukee, WI; her sister Diane Dugger (Murray) of Aurora, CO; her grandchildren, Hunter Tobiasson, Jens Tobiasson, True Tobiasson, Brooke Picray, Wade Picray, Jess Koenig, Jae Klingensmith, Stephanie Miller, Lindsey Walter, Dylan Walter, Lauren Hallum, Jake Walter and Maggie Mettelman; and her great grandchildren, Samantha Koenig, Melody Koenig, Cole Hallum, Troy Hallum and Mitch Hallum.

Memorial contributions may be made in Connie Walter's name to Trinity Lutheran Church.
