We announce the death of Leroy Crawn Jr. (Cortez, Colorado), who passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 99. Leroy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Leroy’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy H. Crawn and Nellie Crawn; and his great grandchild PJ Williams. He is survived by: his children, Gina Heinicke, Wendy Maxwell (John), Buddy Crawn (Lisha) and Sarah Carhart (Matt); and his grandchildren, Mark Williams (Donna), Jamie Heinicke, Jessica Schilke (Seth), Leland Crawn, Kyle Carhart and Scott Carhart (Marie).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the American Legion (320 N Harrison St, Cortez, CO 81321).
