He was predeceased by: his mother Laura Calvillo; and his sister Julia Calvillo. He is survived by: his father Jose Guadalupe Calvillo; his wife Truiva Calvillo; his children, Brian Calvillo, Yvette Calvillo (Benjamin) and Shiree Calvillo-Cox (Ames); his grandchildren, Meghan Higman (Shane), Riley Calvillo (Ahna), TaSheena Calvillo (David), Ben Castillo-Calvillo and Cheyenne Castillo-Calvillo (Felipe); his great grandchildren, Draise Calvillo, Ryatt Calvillo, Colton Calvillo and Payton Calvillo; and his brothers, Andrew Calvillo and Ernest Calvillo (Dori).
In 1973, he developed Happy Valley Trailer Park, and in 1980, he founded La Mesa RV Park, both lasting contributions to the Cortez community.
