With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virgil Cosby of Cotopaxi, Colorado, who passed away on November 3, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Hazel Miller Cosby. He is survived by: his wife Ingeborg Sieg Cosby; his children, Suzanne Dick (Barry) of Seabrook, N. H., Kristin McPherson (Kevin) of Summit, N. J. and James Cosby (Casey) of Golden, CO.; his grandchildren, Jonathan Dick (Jillian), Timothy Dick (Monique), Jennifer Dick, Cameron Dick, Calahan McPherson and Camden McPherson; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte and Lydia Dick.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community United Methodist Church.
