Emma Mascarenas Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2023, at the age of 90, Emma Mascarenas of Craig, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Ambrosio Romero and Maria Romero (Montoya); her stepfather Cecilio Gutierrez; her husband Jesse Mascarenas; her son Tony Grajeda; her great grandchild Layne Antonio Grajeda; her sister Mary Ulibarri (Blondie); and her stepchildren, Ernest Mascarenas and Mary Lou Martinez.
She is survived by : her former life partner Antonio Grajeda; her son Michael; her daughters-in-law, Rhonda Mascarenas and Shamra Grajeda; her stepchildren, Jay Mascarenas (Terry), Susie Herrera (Pat) and Clem Mascarenas; and her siblings, Ambrosio Romero, Jr. (Gloria), Floyd Gutierrez, Cecil Gutierrez (Kay), Viola Hernandez (Joe), Dorothy Tabor and Emily Carmichael. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Moffat County Humane Society or to the Altar Rosary Society in care of Grant Mortuary.
