He is survived by: his sisters, Clara, Beverly, Marian and Marcella; and his children, Lawrence W. Flatten, Loren R. Flatten (Connie), Theresa L. Hefner and Lorraine E. Higgs. He is also survived by grandchildren, one deceased grandson and eleven great grandchildren.
