She was predeceased by : her parents, Marjorie Hampton and Herman Hampton; her son Donald Churchill; and her husband Gary Edward Stephens. She is survived by : her daughter Nancy Minow (Paul); her grandchildren, Bonnie Ortega (Tommy), Robbie Hopper (Nichole), Sherrie Price (Paul) of Harlan, OH, Jennifer Thedell (Shawn) of Whitehouse, TN, Tyler Ortega, Raelle Ortega, Riley Harrelson (Tristan), Kira Farrenkopf, Denis Reichling of Germany, Tinlee Hopper, Braiden Hopper and Jessa Thedell; her brother Newell Hampton (Jeanette) of Montrose, CO; and her daughter-in-law Sandra Stephens. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alamosa Food Bank or Blue Peaks Developmental Day Services.
