He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leslie James Ward and Evelyn Mae Ward (Sythoff); his brother Butch Ward; his wife Betty Ward; his sister Winona Snare (Nonie) of Florissant, Colorado; and his children, Sharon Twombly, Terri Verfurth, Des Damonna Richter of Texas, Ronald Ward of Texas, Allen Ward of Florida and Kenneth Ward of Cripple Creek. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
