He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Montez and Frances Trujillo. He is survived by: his wife Caroline Montez; his children, John Montez (Lucero), Melissa Montez (Rene), Christina Montez (Flabio) and Caroline Montez (Lauro); his siblings, Robert Montez, Albert Montez (Priscilla), Felix Montez (Patsy), Julian Montez (Kelly), Chris Montez (Adela), Mary Velasquez and Frances Montez; his grandchildren, Dominic Montez, Arianna Montez, Alexis Montez, Julian Macias, Isiah Cervantes, Angelique Reyes, Annaliesse Montez, Audrina Montez, Elena Reyes and Flabio Reyes; and his great grandchild Leilani Gonzalez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
