He is survived by: his wife Donna Montoya; his sister Bertha Robles; and his children, Jerry Montoya, Ernest Montoya Jr., Alfred Montoya, Joey Montoya (Jeanice), David Montoya (Ramona), Robert Montoya, Victor Montoya, Isaac Montoya (Joanne), Lorraine Arellano (Dino) and Mindi Moreland (Roy). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Life Fellowship (520 7th St, Del Norte, CO 81132). A burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Del Norte Cemetery (1704 Co Rd 13, Del Norte, CO 81132).
