She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Justus Wilhelm and Hedwig Wilhelm (Urban); her children, Krista and Mark; her husband Hans Hess; her children-in-law, Steve Kapp and Dana Hess; her grandchildren, Carlie Kapp, Gabrielle Hess Allmendinger, Austin Kapp and Kiera Hess; and her sister Irene Wickham.
