He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Widener and Elmer Payte; his siblings, Betty, Mildred and Bruce; and his son Jefferson Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, David, Steve and Tammi; and his brothers, Clarence and Ralph. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
