She was predeceased by : her grandfathers, Ralph Mangum and Carl E. Cassel; her great-grandparents, John, Dorothy Alexander and Margaret Mangum; and her great-uncle David Mangum.

She is survived by : her parents, Carl Cassel and Gina Cassel; her sister Sami Cassel; her grandmothers, Pat Mangum and Madeleine Cassel; her uncles, Claes Cassel (Sue) and Christian Cassel (Robin); and her husband Austin Palm. She is also survived by extended family and friends.

Julie was a caring and giving person; she continued that by giving the gift of life with organ and tissue donation.
