He was predeceased by: his wife Jeannine A. Gies; and his daughter Debbie. He is survived by: his son William Gies of Hotchkiss, CO; his granddaughters, Monica (Brian Betrus) of Johnstown, CO and Rachel (Matt Hernandez) of Windsor, CO.; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Marek, Kaiden, Kenadie, Aspen, Kiley and Quynn; his great great grandchild Mayson; and his brother Pat (Dianne).
