She was predeceased by: her parents, Abner Sheridan Lester and Vera Louise Mullins; and her daughter Misty Valdez. She is survived by: her husband Charles Valdez; and her sons, Andrew Valdez (Kimberly) and Nate of Olathe, CO. She is also survived by 3 brothers and 1 sister.
