He was predeceased by: his father Andrew J. Stangel. He is survived by: his mother Kathy Axtman; his stepfather Weldon McCullough; his wife Kathleen Stangel; his daughter Alyssa Newbury; his granddaughter Clara Leigh Newbury; and his siblings, Jodie Robinson and Andy Stangel.
