With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allen Glen Wassenaar (Denver, Colorado), born in Fulton, Illinois, who passed away on November 24, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Wassenaar (De Stigter) and Benjamin Wassenaar; his children, Tara Swartzendruber (Scott) of Fort Collins, Monica Mewhinney (Michael) of Spokane, Washington. and Matthew Wassenaar; and his sisters, Barbara Wenger of Grand Rapids and Carole Leys of Chocowinity. He was also cherished by five grandchildren.
