He is survived by: his wife Jeanie; his children, Margaret Hoover (John Avlon) and Alexander Hoover (Margaret); and his grandchildren, McKenna "Ollie" Hoover, Sophie Lou Hoover, John Andrew Hoover Avlon and Toula Lou Hoover Avlon.
