It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benda Ridgdill of Denver, Colorado, born in West Ridge, Arkansas, who passed away on November 14, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. L. Simmons and Alma Christian Simmons; her husband Evan Ridgdill; and her siblings, Earnest Simmons, J. L. Simmons, Jr., Pamela Grace Simmons and Annie Jo Parnell.
She is survived by: her children, Wesley Evan Ridgdill (Bryarly) of Bailey, Walter Nigel Ridgdill of Brooksville and Julia Diane Marion (Bill) of Brooksville; and her siblings, Carroll Levi Simmons of Mountain Home, James Edward Simmons of Texas and Rosa Lea Simmons McCreary of Tupelo. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
