He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, Edward Spilka (Jenny), David Spilka (Marilyn) and Joan Spilka (Ira Goldschmidt); and his grandchildren, Raquel Spilka (Eitan Bernstein), Naomi Spilka (Matt Lindsay) and Nathaniel Spilka (Dalia Bauman). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
