He was predeceased by: his son James Allen Gestner; his siblings, Burton Gestner, Marilyn Gestner, Charles Gestner, Barbara Holtz and Earl Lofland; and his parents, Burton Gestner and Caroline Gestner.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jean; his siblings, Gary Gestner and Brenda Bormet; and his children, Susanne Lynn Lopez (Mike), Kenneth Frank Gestner (Jeanette), David Wayne Gestner (Mary), Jeanne Marie Wear (Steve) and Bruce Michael Gestner. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
