He is survived by: his daughter Alanna Dennis of Glen Arden; his grandson Samuel Dennis (Grace) of Shenzhen, China; his daughter Leslie Axvig (Nathan) of Denver; his grandchildren, Lucas and Rebekah; his daughter Sarah; his grandchildren, Quinn and Asher of Haarlem; his sister-in-law Shirley Wilkinson; his nieces, Vickie and Talia; and his nephew Arthur.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Denver Public Library Friends Foundation or the Alzheimer's Association.
