He was predeceased by: his parents, Loretta Montgomery Patterson and David Lee Patterson; and his sister Queen E. Whayne (Alan). He is survived by: his children, David Donell Bland and Davida Young; his siblings, Donell Patterson (Tina), Ronald Patterson (April), Donald Patterson (Yvonne) and Shirley Whayne (Mike) of Denver, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Simone and Sanaa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pipkin Braswell Funeral Home & Cremation (6601 E Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80220). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
