He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Talia Berenbaum and Molly Berenbaum; his sister Lisa Stewart; his nephews, Jack Stewart, Alec Steinhorn (Julia Farney) and William Steinhorn; and his niece Charlotte Steinhorn.
