Dimitra Poggas Obituary

The memory of Dimitra Poggas (Denver, Colorado), who passed away on May 8, 2024 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Constantine Maniatis and Efthemia Maniatis; her siblings, Pete Maniatis, Maria Papadimitropoulos, Andy Maniatis, John Maniatis and Aristea Zaffer; and her stepgrandson Joshua Garcia.

She is survived by: her husband John Poggas; her children, Mary Tzanos (Prokopios), Vlasi Poggas (Lisa), Tina Garcia (Gilbert) and Jim Poggas; her grandchildren, Dimitrios Tzanos (Mado), Giannis Tzanos and Nikolas Garcia (Vanessa); her great grandchild Nikolas Garcia II; her brother George Maniatis; and her godsons, Alex Papadimitropoulos, George Psyllas and Nick Latsis. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
