He was predeceased by: his wife Lily Schmetzko. He is survived by: his children, Adam Schmetzko and Christina Pagliarulo; his son-in-law Frank; and his granddaughters, Elaina Vuich and Megan Pagliarulo.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fairmount Cemetery, Quebec Chapel (430 S Quebec St, Denver, CO 80247). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Fairmount Cemetery (430 S Quebec St, Denver, CO 80247). A reception was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fairmount Cemetery, Quebec Chapel (430 S Quebec St, Denver, CO 80247).
