She is survived by: her daughter Evelyn Ruth Murray; her brother Felix H. Murray; her godson Darrick Damon Alexander (Yarabbi); her aunt Classie Salter of Chappie's Cafe; her husband Kevin Mays; her grandchild New Hope; her children, Jamal (Dom) and LaTanya (Joe); and her grandchildren, Jordan and Jasmine.
A reception was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pipkin Braswell Funeral Home & Cremation (6601 E Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80220).
