Felix Rubio Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Felix Rubio of Denver, Colorado, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Felix left this world on July 28, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Magdelena Jimenez and Felix Rubio Sr.; his sons, Gilbert Rubio and Andreas Rubio; and his siblings, Elva Olague, Benito Rubio, Esperanza Rodriguez, Frank Rubio (Chico), Raul Rubio, Ismael Rubio, Domingo Rubio, Viola Lopez and Lydia Herrera.

He is survived by: his wife Petra Molina Rubio of Denver; his children, Celia Hinojosa (Gilbert Hinojosa), Felix Rubio III, Janie Rubio Galvan (Armando Galvan), Helen Rubio (Hector Romulo), Julian Rubio, Angelita Rubio (Angie) and Celsa Rubio (Al Diaz); and his sibling Chelo Valdez. He is also survived by 28 Grandchildren, 51 Great Grandchildren, 16 Great Great Grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Denver Mortuary Chapel (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). A rosary will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033).
