He is survived by: his sisters, Michelle Norberg (Jon Norberg), Antoinette Martinez and Francine Dominguez (Roman Dominguez); his daughter Mariah Mendez (Amanda Medina); his nieces, Felicia Suazo, Whitney Ayala-Dominguez (Adam Ayala) and Ciana Bertaud (Hector Bertaud); his nephew Emilio Norberg; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Dominic Rocha, Julian Rocha, Noah Ayala, Rhiana and Mila Ayala (Felicia Gurule).
