He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pierce and Roberta Pierce (Hanson). He is survived by: his siblings, Cathy Buck of Des Moines, David Pierce of Des Moines, Marvin Pierce of Denver, Diane Mindrup of North Richland Hills, Karen Meyer of West Liberty and Richard Meyer (Deb) of Mechanicsville, Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hazelwood Cemetery (120 1st Ave W, Grinnell, IA 50112).
