Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Wilhelm Matschke and Martha Marie Manns; and his brother Robert Conrad Matschke. He is survived by: his wife Lesley; his daughters, Marti Poole (Bill) and Karen Buerger (Steve); and his grandchildren, Olivia Laurel Poole, Heather Gale Witucky and Elijah George Buerger.
