With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Georgia Ann Victoria Gunzenhauser (Denver, Colorado), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2026 at the age of 76. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Georgia Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leonard Rushton and Ann Bartos; her husband John Gunzenhauser; her son Benjamin; and her siblings, Marissa, Leslie (Chuck), Randy (Sabin) and Lance (Jamie). She was also cherished by numerous other relatives, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church (2200 S Logan St, Denver, CO 80210). A Mass will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033).
