She was predeceased by: her parents, Dena Dare and Orville Chester Weathers; her husband William Hatanaka (Bill); her granddaughter Dana Lynn; and her siblings, Tom, Orville, Dorothy, Lola and Don.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Ann, Terri Lynn, Steven Iwao and Richard Lee. She is also survived by her four children, 11 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
