She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ganther and Elizabeth Ganther; and her daughter Iris Tarrant. She is survived by: her sister Nellie Mae Ganther Simpson; her spouse Lee Roy Peters; her daughters, Janet Brown, Linda Justice (George), Dorothy Burris (Dwayne) and Lorna Hudson; her grandchildren, Kalisha, Jason, Amber, Tiffany, Cortney, Jennifer, Joshua, Brittney, Brittany and Jerica; and her brother-in-law Lon Peters Jr. (Lillie Mae). She is also survived by her four daughters, two sons-in-law, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Zion Baptist Church (933 E 24th Ave, Denver, CO 80205).
