She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Whitman and Lily Faye Whitman; her brother Richie Whitman; her husband Jerry Hughes; her daughter Shelley; and her son-in-law Mike Keller.
She is survived by: her brother Joe Whitman; her children, Cheryl (Jon Clark), Shane (Natalie (Hedges) Hughes) and Chad (Emily (Short) Hughes); her grandchildren, Justin, Jade and Geoffrey Clark; and her children, Daniel, Violet Hughes, Elliot, Micah and Deacon Hughes.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the University Church of Christ (2000 S Milwaukee St, Denver, CO 80210). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
