He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret (Marg); and his brother Jerry Layne. He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara Layne and Janet Layne; his son-in-law Matt Ratterman; his grandchildren, Kelly Ballenger (Jeremy), Mike Ratterman and Nick Ratterman; and his great grandchild Harper Ballenger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
