With sadness, we share the passing of James R. Clark of Denver, Colorado. James, born on July 13, 1942, passed away on August 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelina Marie Clark and James Clark Jr.; and his brother Michael "Mickey" Clark. He is survived by: his children, James R. Clark, Teresa Halliwell (Jim) and Suzanna M. Johnson (Danny); his sisters, Elaine Griffith and Margaret Arfsten (Dick); and his sister-in-law Carol Clark. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren; and his 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (901 S Sheridan Blvd, Denver, CO 80226). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Olinger Highland Cemetery (10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to Colorado Parks and Wildlife (https://www.mightycause.com) and/or NRA in memory of James Clark.
