James Hearty Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 7, 2025, at the age of 86, James Hearty of Denver, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Hearty and Bridget Agnes Hearty (McGahan); and his siblings, Pat Hearty and Bridget Reel. He is survived by: his wife Betty (Elizabeth Sexton); his children, Elizabeth (Derrick Reish), Eileen (Paul Handley), Debbie (Keith Roark), Maureen (Gregory Hill), Theresa (Ian Brighton), Jim (Lori Foltz) and Tom (Jaime Salay); his grandchildren, Caitlin, Ryan, Owen, Kaeden, Teague, Stella, Mairead, Bridgette, James and Michael; and his brothers, Michael and Peter Hearty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
