He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hinkle and Judy Hallgren. He is survived by: his son Jayden Hinkle; his close friend Greg Bliss; his sister Carol Gervasi (Tony); his nieces, Janie Gervasi and Katie Michielsen; his aunt Sandy Maraman; and his brother Randy Hinkle.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to Open Door Fellowship in Denver, CO, a church with a heart for the city of Denver, or to Hope for Homeless Youth in Los Angeles, CA, where Pastor Clayton Golliher has worked tirelessly to bring the Kingdom of God to James and many more youth just like him.
