It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Mathias Lachner in Denver, Colorado, born in Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on November 6, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bernard Lachner and Sally Riede. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his daughters, Mary (Dan Minton), Anne (Mike Starkle) and Kristen (Edmundo Robaina); and his grandchildren, Sam (Brittney), Maddie, Sarah, Josh Minton, Sadie, Molly, Lucy Starkle, Johnny, Andy, Danny, David and Sophie Robaina. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church (4715 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Vincent De Paul.
