He was predeceased by: his wife Kiyo Tatum (Takagi); his son Thomas Tatum; and his close friend Kay Meyers. He is survived by: his daughters, Glenda Derry of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Patti Phelps of Gadsden, Alabama; his daughter-in-law Debbi Tatum of Peyton, Colorado; and his stepdaughters, Michi Wruck of Parker, Colorado, Linda Coco of Whitefish, Montana and Lyla Street (Many) of Monument, Colorado. He is also survived by Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
