With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Reidy Ellis of Denver, Colorado, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Jo Reidy (Wood) of Dalton, GA and Michael Reidy of County Clare, Ireland; her sister Maureen; and her brother-in-law Arthur Cunningham of Moraga, CA.. She is survived by: her brother Terry; her sister-in-law Maureen Reidy of Slater, CO; her sister Karen; her brother-in-law Ray Combe of Boston, MA; her son Michael Ellis; her daughter-in-law Amanda Weinstein; her daughter Stephanie Sabga; her son-in-law Richard Davidson; and her granddaughters-in-law, Zoey and Nina.
Donations may be made in Janet's name to the Denver Botanic Gardens. (https://www.botanicgardens.org) A celebration of Janet's life will be held at the Denver Country Club on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.
