It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanette Elsie Bookhamer of Denver, Colorado, born in Keene, New Hampshire, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Dompier and Rachael Dompier (Pratt); her husband Virgil Bookhamer of Denver, CO.; her siblings, Gloria Turner (Dompier) of Brattleboro, VT. and Robert Dompier of Brattleboro, VT.; her children, Christina Smith (Prentice) of Denver, CO. and Myrle Summerall of Denver, CO.; her daughter-in-law Sheron Prentice of Winchester, NH.; and her grandson Shawn Prentice of Townshend, VT..

She is survived by: her children, Sam Prentice (Dora), Jimmy Prentiss (Karen), Donny Prentice, Danny Bookhamer, Sherman Bookhamer, Gloria Bookhamer and Annette Bookhamer; and her friend Diane Willman. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins.
