He was predeceased by: his son Hastings Butler; his brother Jerry Tyrone Butler; and his niece Tanita Barial-Mitchell. He is survived by: his parents, JC Butler and Delores Butler; and his siblings, Gwendolyn Butler-Parnell (James), Marilyn Butler-Speer (Jeff), Valerie Butler-Harper (Danny), Calvin Perry, Terry Butler, Fred Butler, Adrian Butler (Gilonda) and Damion Butler (Chiquita). He is also survived by extended family members, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 1901 Burg Jones Ln, Monroe, LA 71202.
