Tom Ziegler wrote a sympathy message

“Jon and Jeff, I heard about the passing of your father and I wanted to reach out and send my condolences . He was always, always so nice to me when we were growing up. Such a patient sweet man. He didn’t yell at me when my buddy’s older brother tore the rim off the backboard in your driveway. He was always ready to play catch. A great man and a great life coach. I’ll never forget his laugh. All the best, Tom Ziegler”

Anna McCaffery wrote a sympathy message

“Every time it snows I think of Jerry. When I purchased my home in 2003 I was ready to shovel snow. When it snowed I would wake up to my walks already shoveled. After 3 storms and no one asking for payment, I set the alarm for 4:00 a.m. to see who was shoveling. It was Jerry, my new neighbor, He said this little bit of CO snow was nothing to someone from Wisconsin. The recent huge snowstorm led me to see if I could find Jerry as he and Millie had moved away long ago. RIP dear Jerry.”
