Jessica Elane Waters Obituary

Jessica Elane WATERS, 33, of Denver, CO, formerly of Whitesville, NY, died Sunday, November 30, 2025 in her home.

Born March 20, 1992, in Wellsville, she was the daughter of Christopher and Christy Tarr Waters. A graduate of Whitesville Central School and Alfred State College, she was employed as a flight attendant by Frontier Airlines and most recently by the Denver Rescue Mission.

Jessica was truly a beautiful soul whose light touched many. She was courageous and resilient, facing her challenges head-on and never hesitating to reinvent herself when life demanded it. She was bold and hard-headed, the kind of determined spirit who stood firm in what she believed. She had an enormous heart, especially for those in need and the elderly. Helping others wasn't just something she did, it was part of who she was. Her compassion, her generosity, and the way she made people feel seen and cared for will always be part of her legacy.

Surviving are: her parents of Whitesville; two siblings, Drew Waters of Whitesville and Rebekah Waters of Bradford, PA; paternal grandparents, Donald and Mary Waters of Whitesville; aunts and uncles, Roxanne Waters, Dan Waters, Matt (Tracey) Waters, Donna (Ron) Sims, and Tisha Tarr; many cousins; her boyfriend, Jason Ladd; and many friends. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Mary and Luther Tarr.

Friends may call at Crosstown Alliance Church, Wellsville on Saturday, December 20, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with services following at 1:00 PM. Rev. Monty Ader will officiate.

Memorials may be made to SPCA serving Allegany County.
