He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma Mary Hanson and Gerald Glenn Reeves; his former wife Verna Jean Henderson of Aurora, CO; his daughter Kristy Payne (Michael) of Parker, CO.; and his brothers, William, Richard, Glenn and John.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Long; his sons, Richard Reeves of Phoenix, AZ and Brandon Reeves of Grand Junction, CO.; his grandchildren, Travis, Corbin, Luna and Tyler; and his brother Alan Reeves (Tricia) of Arvada. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236).
